Making a Database - 8 - Adding Fields and Records

Once you have imported data, you can add another Field, or create a form to add new records.

A. Adding another Field

To add a second field for Fav_Subject2:

a. Select the field to the right.  Right Click and select Insert Column:

b. Right Click the new field and rename it:



c. Type in the new data and then Save.

 

B. To create a form to add new records, one at a time.

Click Forms, Create form by using wizard:

2. Check the main table is chosen, then click the double arrow to choose all fields to go on the table:

3. Click OK, OK, finish.  This is the completed form:

4.  Click File, Save As, and call the form frmDataentry.

5.  Add a new record by clicking on the button.
