HITEK Computer Services - Graphs

One of the tasks set by the Pat Miller the Tecnical Services Director of HITEK was to produce a graph in preparation for a company meeting to quickly show the percentage of customers who have different types of service contracts.

STEP 1 - START THE CHART WIZARD

• Click REPORTS
• Click NEW
• Choose Chart Wizard
• Select Warranty as the table

STEP 2 - SELECT FIELDS FOR CHART & CHART FORMAT

• select the field using the  >  button
• create a pie chart 
• click FINISH

STEP 3 - IMPROVE PRESENTATION

• click on VIEW, DESIGN VIEW
• double click on the graph
• change the title to "Warranties held by HITEK customers
• Change the font size to 16
• Stretch the chart horizontally until the left hand edge is at the 15 cm mark on the ruler
• Stretch the chart downwards until it approximately square
• Do a print preview

• Produce a chart to show what type of memory HITEK customers have installed in their computers
