JFD Art - 7 - Running a query on a more than 1 field

TASK 1

John has a customer who collects English paintings from the 1990's and would like an up-to-date list of paintings in stock.  Set up a query (like that shown below) and save it as 1990s English Paintings

The query above does the following

• Puts Artist name into alphabetical order
• Displays the title of the painting
• Shows only paintings painted in the 1990's (i.e. Between 1990 and 1999)
• Displays the prices
• Finds all the English painters (but does not display the word English - no tick the Show box)
  

TASK 2

John has a customer who is looking for an oil painting that costs less than £1000.  The customer also wants to know the size of the painting.

Setup and run a query - save it as "Oil Paintings Under £1000"

Notes:

• You cannot write "under £1000" or "Less than £1000"  - you must use <
• We don't need to display the Media type (this is part of our search) but we DO need to display the price - our search is for any price under £1000 and we need to find out the exact price in our search result
• The prices will be shown from least to most expensive
