“Fotospeed Pigment inks and papers have been tested and approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild for 75 years. Fotospeed Pigment Ink is manufactured to our specification in the USA by one of the worlds leading ink manufacturers. This allows us to offer not only the very highest quality but guaranteed batch to batch consistency. Most of the archival quality of an image comes from the ink. As Pigment inks are light fast they will not fade in UV light. What will happen over time is that the paper itself will dessicate and may yellow depending on where and how the image is displayed. Under these circumstance and if the image is kept out of direct sunlight and atmospheric pollution you can expect 45 years of image life”.
